After obtaining a journalism degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mary enrolled in nutrition science classes and worked at a local Italian restaurant to kindle her culinary flame. Word spread about her love of cooking and knack for entertaining, and Mary soon began catering events and parties for friends.
Landing in New York City after college, Mary has refined her love of food with courses at The Institute of Culinary Education. She was also the host of "Chic & Easy" on Food Network and most recently was appointed Bon Appétit magazine's Chef de Cuisine.
